HERITAGE RANCH NEWSLETTER

MAY 2012

THANK YOU NOTES

Beautiful Fountain:

I am sure all of Heritage Ranch has enjoyed the beautiful fountain installed on the lawn next to the Gazebo. Mary Ann Ciscel donated the fountain to Heritage Ranch in honor of her late husband Bob Ciscel. The Board of Directors / residents do appreciate your thoughtfulness. Thank you again Mary Ann for your generous donation.

The Board of Directors

Vern Young, Jim Mikoski, Betty Couse, Wanda Park, Angie White, and Chuck Woolery.

Where else but in Heritage Ranch would we find friends and neighbors so supportive at just the right time…. Cards and prayers, telephone calls and stopping by to check up on things from the very beginning of our trek to the hospital where one Heritage Ranch visitor 'covered my back' all the way to the hospital parking lot. To the very end the visitor whose perfect timing brought Chuck home after a surprising dinner-hour hospital release…Thanks, a million!

Dottie and Chuck Woolery,

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

Now that we have committed a situation with S.C.E., we need to plan our options. I believe meeting with them without a lawyer being present is a possibility. I am sure everyone that lives / owns in the park, are doing things to conserve electricity. I have listed below ideas that may help, keep in mind these are just my ideas.

  1. Set times on pool/spa equipment not to run during peak hours. This equipment does not need to run 24/7 .
  2. Close laundry facilities during peak hours. We did this several years ago, why did we stop.
  3. People using the facilities: be more careful about leaving lights on when it is not necessary. I have been in the ballroom, lobby and other areas during the daytime and noticed lights all on. I know the Board has changed most of the lights to power saving. If you leave all lights, burning this will not be cost effective.
  4. I have comments from some people; whoever locks up can turn them off! Anything we can do to save electricity we should do. Maybe someone else has some ideas to comment on.

    Respectfully, Bob Couse
